REQUIREMENTS:

HUMAN BODY PROJECT 
DUE: JANUARY 22, 2013

EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE:
A report to include the following:
1. Three page minimum
write-up of your body system; describing major organs, functions of that system, process of that system, related diseases, preventative measures and careers associated. Three sources of reference must be used, with a bibliography attatched to the report. The final draft must be in black or blue ink only, printed on only one side of paper. Spelling and grammer count. Type can be beteen 10 or 12 font, with 1 1/2 line spacing.

2. Contribute into a powerpoint about your topic. 

3. PROJECT: One project for each member, chosen from below. No repeats allowed on tasks.

    a. A detailed diagram, with labels, of any major organ in the system. (ie: heart and valves, parts of the brain, etc.) (presentation/poster size)
    b. A formative quiz with a minimum of 15 questions in at least two formats.
(2 empty, 1 key) (ie: matching, labeling or crossword; wordsearch not ok)
    c. A hand-made, 3-D model and demonstration relating to the body system. (may only be of one major organ if it is complicated)
    d.  A book, story or informative format, for grade level K-3 or 4-6. (minimum of 8 pages of text with front cover to include title and author and back cover with author information )
    e.  An original song or poem, student-created, to relate with the specific body system. (20 line minimum) 
    f. A newsletter relating to the body system. (5 articles of interest and 2 ad minimum)
