has chosen to do the integrated format.

Life Science: Biodiversity,
Ecosystems, and Energy flow.
Physical Science: Law of Conservation, Matter, Reactions, and Thermodynamics.
Design: (STEAM) Developing
and using models, Investigating analyzing & interpreting data, Constructing
explanations, Designing solutions, and Evaluating & communicating Information
Interaction and effect on environment.
advancements of genetic modifications.
Astronomy- planet structure, composition, and correlation with other planets.
Physics- density, forces and motion with emphasis
on Newton's Laws.
Progress-projects for further experimentation and investigation to aid with the above topics, usually
in group format.
Grades will reflect achievement scores within each science domain. Progress can be followed with the school's on-line grade program.
Assignments are due on the day set by the teacher. Homework
is predominantly for review or completion of assignments. Students
who are absent are responsible for all missing work. It is the student’s
responsibility to collect and complete the missing work within a timely manner.
If absent the day of a test, it will be taken the day upon return. If absent on
a hands-on activity that cannot be replicated an alternate assignment will be
all course work from this class. Proof of assignment and test grades will help if ever a discrepancy of grade occurs.
